Monthly Transits

Your relationship's real-time weather report

If synastry is your relationship's blueprint, transits are the seasons it lives through. The planets didn't stop moving when you were born — their current positions continually interact with the sensitive points in your shared chart.

Personal impact, not generic forecasts

Generic horoscopes tell millions of people the same thing. StellarTies calculates the specific geometric intersections between today's sky and your unique charts.

We scan six transiting planets (Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) against the personal planets in both natal charts and the key points in your composite chart — every single day of the month. We only surface events where a transiting planet is within a tight 1.5° orb of a significant point.

Intensity scoring: not all transits are equal

Each transit event receives an intensity score from 1 to 10, calculated from three factors:

Planet weight: Pluto (10) carries more transformative weight than Mars (4).
Aspect type: Conjunctions (1.0×) are more potent than sextiles (0.6×).
Natal importance: Transits to Sun and Moon (1.0×) matter more than transits to outer planets (0.6×).

This hierarchy ensures your forecast focuses on what actually matters, not a firehose of every minor lunar transit.

Golden windows and connection bids

We don't just flag challenges — we highlight opportunities.

Golden Windows: Our algorithm detects clusters of harmonious transits (trines, sextiles, conjunctions to benefics) within a date range. When multiple supportive transits converge, we label the window: "Best window for romance and affection: Apr 8–12."

Connection Bids: Grounded in evidence-based relationship psychology — research shows that how partners respond to small "bids for connection" is one of the strongest predictors of relationship success — we map current transits to actionable relationship suggestions from a curated library of templates. A Venus trine might generate "Plan a low-key date — effortless harmony is peaking right now." A Saturn square might suggest "Revisit a boundary that needs clarifying."

Composite transits: the relationship's own weather

Beyond personal transits, we scan the same six planets against your composite chart — the mathematical midpoint chart that represents the relationship as its own entity.

When Saturn conjuncts your Composite Sun, it's not about either partner individually — it's about the relationship's shared sense of purpose being tested. These composite transits are merged into the same monthly forecast with their own significance descriptions.

Contextual synthesis, not fear-based predictions

The internet's "astro-trolling" culture often uses transits to create panic ("Mercury retrograde will ruin your life!"). StellarTies takes the opposite approach:

Mathematical reality: We show the exact dates and orbs — no vague warnings.
Contextual reading: Our narrative engine looks at the whole transit picture. A "difficult" Saturn transit is often the necessary catalyst for a "positive" Jupiter breakthrough elsewhere.
Actionable framing: Instead of "Watch out," our guidance says "This is a high-friction window for logistics — prioritize quality time over planning today."

Transit forecasts are calculated from astronomical cycles and represent potential themes, not literal predictions. StellarTies does not predict specific events and accepts no liability for actions taken based on transit timing.
